I’m Moving House!
Yes. it is now offical. I will be moving out of my nice one bedroom apartment in Campbell on ANZAC Day. I have enjoyed my time in the Inner North of Canberra - its been great living so close to ANU and Civic. I will also miss the short (7 min) drive to work past the War Memorial of a morning and by the lake. Sadly, the rent is too much and a great opportunity has come up to share a house with some friends in the south of Canberra at Wanniassa. It will be considerably cheaper and mean I am closer to church and most of my friends who live down that way. The 20 min drive isn’t too bad and still less than what it took me to get to the nearest train station when I lived in Sydney! Sharing a house with two girls will be different but I’m sure it will be a lot of fun. It will be nice to have a bit more space and live in a real house again with decent storage space and a kitchen bigger than a postage stamp.
